StencilStudio Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the StencilStudio mobile app and the related public pages for the app (together, the “Service”).

By creating an account, buying a subscription or credit pack, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use StencilStudio.

1. What the Service Is

StencilStudio is an AI-assisted tattoo stencil workflow tool. It allows users to upload photos, references, and existing tattoo images, then generate or refine stencil-style outputs.

The Service is intended mainly for professional tattoo artists, apprentices, and studios. It helps speed up stencil preparation, but it is still a drafting tool. It does not guarantee a final design, a tattoo-ready file, or a result that is suitable for use without review.

2. Eligibility and Age

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.

If you are under 18, you should use the Service only with permission from a parent or legal guardian.

We may suspend or close accounts that do not meet this requirement.

3. Accounts and Security

Some features require an account. You may be able to sign in using email/password or supported third-party sign-in methods such as Apple or Google.

You are responsible for:

• Keeping your login credentials confidential
• All activity that happens under your account
• Giving us accurate account information

If you believe your account has been compromised, contact support@craftuplearn.com promptly.

4. Acceptable Use and Prohibited Content

You may use the Service only in compliance with these Terms and applicable law.

4.1 Prohibited content

You must not upload, submit, or generate content that is:

• Illegal or intended to support unlawful conduct
• Infringing, including copyrighted artwork, photography, or tattoo work you do not have the right to use
• Defamatory, abusive, hateful, threatening, or harassing
• Sexually explicit or exploitative
• Violent, harmful, or otherwise prohibited by platform rules

4.2 Prohibited conduct

You must not:

• Use the Service without the rights, permissions, or consents needed for the materials you submit
• Reverse engineer, scrape, probe, or exploit the Service
• Bypass billing, usage limits, credit rules, or technical protection measures
• Use bots or automation in a way that harms the Service or other users
• Interfere with system integrity, overload the Service, or attempt unauthorized access

5. Subscriptions, In-App Purchases, and Billing

StencilStudio may offer monthly subscriptions and one-time top-up credit packs as paid features.

Product names, pricing, billing periods, included credits, and other purchase details are shown in-app and in the relevant store listing at the time of purchase.

Payments are processed by Apple and other platform providers, together with related billing partners such as RevenueCat. We do not store your full payment card details.

5.1 Renewals and cancellation

Subscriptions typically renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel through your App Store account or other relevant platform account.

To avoid the next renewal charge, cancel before the store's cutoff for the current billing period. Timing and renewal rules are controlled by the platform that processed the purchase.

5.2 Credits, refresh, expiry, and top-ups

Credits are a usage feature inside the Service. They are not a cash account or stored monetary value.

• Subscription credits are recurring credits tied to your active monthly plan.
• Subscription credits refresh each billing cycle while the subscription remains active.
• Unused subscription credits do not roll over.
• Unused subscription credits expire at the end of the billing cycle to which they belong.
• Purchased top-up credits are separate from recurring subscription credits.
• Purchased top-up credits do not expire merely because time passes.
• Credit balances may change after purchases, renewals, restorations, generation use, compensating recredits, or system reconciliation.
• We reserve the right to correct obvious balance, billing, or system errors.
• If your subscription ends or lapses, subscription credits tied to that cycle may no longer be available once that cycle expires. Purchased top-up credits remain available while your account stays open, unless applicable law or platform rules require otherwise.

5.3 Refunds

Refunds are generally handled by Apple or the platform that processed the purchase, under that platform's own rules.

We do not promise discretionary refunds outside what applicable law requires. If you think there has been a billing or credit issue, contact the platform first where appropriate and also let us know at support@craftuplearn.com.

6. AI Features and Professional Judgment

The Service uses AI to process source materials and generate stencil outputs. AI output can be imperfect, incomplete, inconsistent, or simply wrong.

• Generated stencils may need cleanup, editing, or redraw work.
• We do not guarantee that any output is ready for transfer, linework planning, or tattooing without professional review.
• The Service can speed up part of your workflow, but it does not replace your artistic judgment, technical review, legal review, or client-specific decision-making.

You are solely responsible for the final use of any source material or generated output.

7. User Content and Limited License

“User Content” includes the images, references, prompts, instructions, notes, and outputs associated with your use of the Service.

You remain the owner of your original uploaded materials and generated stencil outputs, to the extent permitted by law.

By submitting User Content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, copy, transmit, process, and display that content only as needed to:

• Operate the Service and deliver requested outputs
• Send materials to our processors and AI providers for that purpose
• Maintain security, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot problems
• Improve, support, and administer the Service
• Comply with law and enforce these Terms

We do not claim ownership of your content beyond what is necessary to run the Service.

You represent that you have the rights, permissions, and consents needed to upload and use the source materials you submit, including client materials, photographs, reference images, and third-party artwork where relevant.

8. Feedback

If you send us product feedback, suggestions, or ideas, you allow us to use them without restriction or compensation to you.

9. Intellectual Property

The Service itself, including the software, branding, interface, copy, graphics, and underlying systems, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not, without prior written permission:

• Copy or redistribute the Service itself
• Create derivative works from the Service itself
• Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit access to the Service
• Remove proprietary notices or branding

10. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also subject to our Privacy Policy. It explains how we collect, use, store, and delete account data, uploaded materials, generated outputs, billing state, and support records.

11. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if:

• You breach these Terms
• You submit prohibited content or abuse the Service
• We need to protect the Service, other users, or our rights
• We are required to do so by law or by platform rules

You may stop using the Service at any time. You can also delete your account through the app where that option is available.

If your account is deleted or terminated, access to stored projects, generated outputs, and unused credits may end with the account, except where applicable law requires otherwise. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle data after deletion or termination.

12. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, perfect security, or error-free operation.
• We do not guarantee that outputs will meet a particular artistic, technical, legal, or commercial standard.
• We do not guarantee that any output is free from the need for review, revision, or independent rights clearance.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunity arising out of or related to the Service.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where the law does not allow that limitation.

14. Changes to the Service and These Terms

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service, including features, plans, credit packaging, pricing, or technical integrations.

We may also update these Terms from time to time. If a change is material, we will post the updated Terms and may also provide notice in the app or by email. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.

15. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Italy, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

If you have a dispute, contact us first at support@craftuplearn.com so we can try to resolve it informally.

If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it will be subject to the courts of Milan, Italy, unless mandatory consumer law says otherwise.

16. Apple Platform and EULA

If you download StencilStudio through Apple platforms, the Apple Standard End User License Agreement also applies where required.

These Terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the Service, maintenance, or support beyond what applicable law and Apple's rules require.
